I agree with Pam. I have the best memories of my life at the resort every summer. I would leave Texas the day school was out and get to Edwardsville as quick as I could so I could ride up with Grandma and Grandpa, David and Bob to the resort. I remember the year the bridge opened. I also remember the year we left Bob at a filling station.I loved helping grandma get the rooms and cabins ready to rent. We worked hard but we played hard too. I love the bakery in town and getting the coffee cake and fresh berry pies to bring back. I loved going to the movie in Curtis with all the other kids in town. I loved going out at night with grandma fishing. I would row the boat for her because she was always tired but loved to fish. I remember the year after I married when I brought my Bill to the resort. I wanted him to see it before it was sold. We took my oldest daughter and Pam Grinstead with us to the falls and to Canada for the day. I hope she remembers. Great times.
